Excellent.

Looking forward to more pictures and evaluations of the Brookstone. How did the PDI go?

Sadly I have no more pictures at the present. Was so busy today and forgot my phone.

We love all the storage areas in the trailer. The pantry is very large and there are several overhead cabinets that are great spaces. The island is large and has four very large drawers and of course the under sink area. There are drawers and cabinets all over.

The only drawback which is not actually a drawback for us is there isn't a huge amount of counter space. The table has two fold down leaves and the top also hinges up and there is storage area under it. The dining set usually come with two straight back chairs and two folding chairs. We hated the folding chairs and found them uncomfortable. When we ordered the unit we ordered it with four of the straight back and it was a great choice for us. They are comfortable and they actually match. The folding chairs were shorter at the back and we just didn't like them.

We travel with another couple and they will be staying in the bunkroom just off the kitchen. Very nice space with actual sliding doors that can close. It has a sofa that pulls out to a decent bed with a bunk over it. I took the bunk out as it will never be used and it really opened the room up.

Our bedroom is very cozy. I installed our sleep number bed today and it's super comfortable. Bathroom is nice. We have no issues with it. Large linen closet.

There are tons of windows with the rolling shades. I always hated those shades with the strings. Cant remember what they are called. Too much of a hassle.

Large basement area that has plenty of storage. I've also got the outside sink and small refrigerator in it's only compartment. I put my coffee maker in there as I always get up early and have coffee outside when we are camping.

We're stoked. We really love the trailer. I checked all the systems and had no problems. The PDI went well. The technician answered my questions and was very informative. All in all a good experience.

Will be taking it out in two weeks for a short little test trip before out big trip in May.

Can't really think of anything right off. All pretty straightforward. There are a LOT of light switches all over the unit. Easy enough to figure them out of course. Lots of plugs too. There was something took me a bit to figure out. There is a light over the streetside compartment door with all the plumbing controls and such. Could not figure it out for a bit as it would not come on. I took the bulb out and it looks fine. The light on the front worked just fine. Well a little later I was looking at the controls in the closet inside and I saw a switch that said maint area light or something like that, I can't remember. But I switched it on, went outside and turned on the light again. It worked. I have no idea why it would be on a switch inside like that when the light on the front there is no other switch for it. Just turn it on and it's on. Oh well, Everything worked eventually.

I know what you mean. I looked into replacing ours, but holy-moly do they want a ton for them. Nope, will live with what we have.

Sounds like it is everything you want. Good luck and .

We just got back from a little 2 night stay at a local state park. Testing everything. Only one issue. The floor heat register in our front bedroom blasts a ton of hot air. The bedroom is very close to the heater so it's the first place the air comes out. Then the bathroom which was blasting too. The next register in the bunkhouse was fine and the one after that in the kitchen was fine as well. The last register in the floor of the living room had very little air coming out. I just went to Lowes and bought some registers with dampers in them. Worked like a charm to be able to regulate the air flow. I have no idea why trailer builders don't just go ahead and put adjustable registers in trailers. The price for them is fairly minimal. But of course their bottom line would not be as high right? Anyway the testing went very well and we love the trailer. Very easy to pull too.

That's funny. My 390QSMB is nearly the same layout and my bunk room was like a blast furnace. I pulled the cover off and blocked off 2/3rds of the vent. The rest are fairly well balanced.

We also ran the fireplace and it did a decent job down to around 50. Below that the furnace would kick on once in a while.

Yeah I was pleased with the fireplace too. We looked very closely at the one you got. It was between the 395RL and that one. We went with ours just because of the bunk layout. I like that yours has more counter space in the kitchen but I also prefer our freestanding island. I'm weird in that I hate getting blocked in anywhere. With the island I have an out. hehe.

I ran the heat in the driveway and noticed that it was imbalanced too. Funny thing is the last two campers we had we never turned the heat on as we use portable heaters and the fireplace DW says that is because I am cheep but, I turned the heat on in the drive so she could go in and pack her kitchen!
