So I removed the top bunk from the bunkhouse. Took all of 10minuted. A few pointers and steps if you plan on doing this yourself. It really makes the room feel much larger and allows easy clearance of you TV when the slides are in. Our daughter loves it. This is of course assuming you don't need the upper bunk.

1. Remove the total of two screws that hold the 2 pieces of OSB down

2. Remove the 2 2'x64" OSB boards from RV

3. Press down firmly on the fascia board below the bunk, it is simply attached with finishing tacks and will pop off with pressure (if you do not remove this panel first, you will not be able to get to the screws in the frame)
4. Remove the 4'x64" facia board from RV

5. Remove all 8 3" long wood screws (#10 square drive) from the wood frame bracing perimeter and the entire platform will drop (start with the front 2, rear 2 and then side 4 screws)

6. Remove frame from RV

Done

I also installed LED taillights, replacing the oem incandescent dim lights. Probably the single safest investment you can make aside from better tires. A total of $50 for the lights and 30mins to install.

I'm also installing these above the fenders on the trailer. They will help me see those dark corners when turning on unlit streets. They are only about 4"x6", solar powered, with an off switch.

And this was also put in for security

Very nice LEDs.

That's one of the few things I was disappointed in with the trailer. All the interior lights are LEDs, but the exterior look like they took them off my 13 year old 5er I just sold.

For $50, I'll be doing this soon.

Do the new LED tail lights also illuminate the license plate?

Yes, there is an additional down facing LED for the plate

Here are the lights if anyone is interested.
LED RV Camper Trailer Stop Turn Brake Tail Lights / License Light / Black Base https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LA59QZO..._8fcRwbGT6E24E

Just remember this wiring: White-White, Black-Red, Brn-Gray

The wiring info on the back of the light is wrong.

Like how the room looks without the top bunk. When we removed both from our bunkroom to make it a scrapbook room, we found something kind of neat (or odd?). Under the bottom mattress the board was cut into two pieces. One covered the top of the drawers. The other had a hole drilled in it to lift it up and you could use that room for storage. Would be hard to get to if the top bunk was still on. We have one of the first 360ibls made so not sure about subsequent models.

Thanks! I had seen your post on that and thought about moving the brace back and adding a hinge to make it like the storage under the master bed. I could even make the drawers shorter and inclose them while putting a liftable lid over the front half with hydraulic arms.
