That's kinda weird. It drives so well I'm leaning towards leaving well enough alone. The truck is level when pulling and I have zero issues.
Any reason you guys see to make an adjustment?

Our Apex squats in the rear slightly too. The Armada has an auto level system so it sometimes will lift the Apex nose slightly. I could drop the trailer down a hole on the shank but rather not if I don't have to. Tows fine as it is. We use the Blue Ox Sway-pro system. I know I am supposed to disconnect the auto level system but that's not an option with the Armada. If it keeps being an issue I may reconsider but it's good for now.

For those of you who are thinking about the Progressive Industries surge protector... i just got off the phone with their Tech Services... a human voice answered, so kuddos there! Very smart guys/gals who know their stuff. Figured I'd share because i know a few of you all are looking at one of these units.
My main comment/question was: Occassionally i show up to a campground and the 30AMP plug-in looks dark or hasn't been changed out in so long that my plug does sit firm, so i switch over to the 50AMP receptacle and use a 50A to 30A adapter. Does this harm anything with my PI unit?
Answer: Not at all. There's no difference in the functionality of the PI unit, and I can't blame you for making the switch.

Another note... i read either on here or on the Tundra forum about increasing the PSI on my Tundra's tires when towing the camper. Yesterday i increased my rear tires from 35PSI to 40PSI, and my front from 33PSI to 35PSI. I can say that i definitely felt a difference in the tow... it eliminated the "squishy" feel the tires had previously.

Picking up the kids from school and then heading back out to Raystown Lake... onsite campground is called the Seven Points Federal Campground. If you fish, boat, hike and/or mountain bike, this is a great campground.

Is that campground just electric only?

I love to mountain bike so I've been wanting to try out their trails but too far for a day trip.

Yes... Electric only. There's good spots and bad spots... And some really bad spots. If you are going to go, let me know and I'll steer you to a nicer spot.

I put road tires on my Mtn bike when my son was born... Pretty much stick to the streets these days. I have a good friend who is still a pretty serious Off road rider... At least once a week. He said this area has some of the best trails around.

I was wondering how everyone's tires are holding up? Not having any issues with mine, but I keep hearing about "China bombs" that FR is putting on campers these days. My Rockwood had Trail Express, which I hated. Every time I moved it, I had to put 1-2lbs of air into them. And then I had a blowout and changed them all over to Hercules. The current tires are holding air much better... Only time I added any is before the first trip out this spring.
New tires are on the list for next spring, but if the current ones hold up well this summer, I might re-think that.
