We've talked about swapping out the unit. I think we're just going to stick with it until we have an issue. I do plan on changing the speaker wiring so that the rear speakers can be dedicated. Not sure why they wouldn't run the extra wire for dedicated C speakers.

Rear speakers? I only have 2 inside and 2 outside. My c channel is not hooked up, just open wires behind unit. Im excited! My wife and i have been turning the heat on and kicking back a few drinks in it! Guess thats why im so motivated to mod things up lol. I got the middle ceiling light working off the switch done, i like it but kind of a pain to do. Everytime i think im done i come up with something else that would be cool!

There's at least one above the bunks. It works on A or A & B, but does not work on C alone.

Cableman... Have you located the control box for the Schwintek Slide yet? I was just snooping around on YouTube recently and was learning more about the "what if" factor of slide issues. Also, I'd assume that to get to the slide motors, we'd have to remove the wood trim around the inside of the slide? Hoping I'll never need to know, but I like to be prepared if I do.

Really chomping at the bit to get back out. Made reservations today for our three annual trips to Hershey Park. Place fills up fast.

I will look into the slide control box! I have had the removable front kick panels in the kitchen slide off, lotta stuff under there.
The speaker thing is easy for ya, just put 1 on c and the other on a or b, which ever one is not the outside speakers then it will have front to back control on the inside. I got mine all done, love it! Still have some indoor speakers to replace.
We are itching to get out also! Least you got to use yours already!

Picked up a 2nd quick connect for my weber regulator so i can use a small bottle if i need to. Ordered a ss braided hose off ebay with 3/8th female flare to run to the back off the block to hook up my modded weber. Works great, just need a shutoff and then ill mount it just left of back steps.

Last pic is very helpful, now we know what we're looking for!
Do you know where the water pump is hiding? We did finally modify the bunk to get to the bypass valve on the hot water heater, but the pump isn't in that space .. that I could see.
Also, we supposedly have heated tanks. How's that work?

Water pump is under seat where fuse box is. I just leave screws out. There is a 3" hose from the heater going to the floor under that seat also, i believe thats how the tanks are heated.

The water pump location made Winterizing a breeze.

I've also kicked around the idea of splicing the heat duct under the bench and running it to a vent opening under the dinette. We'd like to transfer a little less heat to the back bedroom and into the feet area... And our pooch has claimed that area as his sleeping quarters. We really don't need heated tanks, although we'd leave a little heat going to the area.

We've decided that come spring, we'll be replacing the bathroom fan with a Fantastic Fan... Had them in our previous two TT's and the current fan just doesn't measure up.

In your mod of this area... If you noticed... I was wondering if there's room to put the charging station inside that cubby area? And still have enough room to plug in a couple phones? I was thinking if so, all the wires and phones could be contained inside the cubby... I just dislike all the wires sticking out.

You could fab it up to sink the usb jacks into the cubby. The ports also come off the plate for a smaller foot print. I can still fit phones and kindle fires in there now and just the one side sticks out a little, not too bad.

We depart April 10 to Bald Eagle SP. More of a working weekend. Mods, cleaning, checking plumbing, gas lines and such. We were supposed to do Hershey Park next weekend, but had to cancel that trip. Time to start re-stocking the camper.
Purchasing a new mattress tomorrow from Sams Club. We can't sleep another night on the stock mattress, even with a 3" memory foam. I just purchased a telescoping extension ladder to have a little easier access when sweeping off the slideout.
I'll start some mods next week (weather permitting). Two questions... How did you remove the panel where the USB jacks are? And... How did you access the stereo connections? I like the gas line mod... Might have to look into that one. Looks pretty straight forward.

We roll out on the 6th but it keeps snowing here!
The stereo lines are easy just remove the unit and there behind. The usb are a little tricky, i pushed it in which breaks the panel and remove all staples. I used loan to make new panels where needed, minwax weathered oak is a nice match, i had 1st used some teak oil but wosh i saw the minwax 1st.
Heres the shelf i was telling you about, and a kwickset bathroom knob with a lock! Quickset fit perfect and didnt even need to change the guts just the handle!

Good to see you guys are getting close to camping time. Question, have either of you noticed the slide, when out, pinching a black flexible pipe by the bunk end, or showing cables along the edge? We don't know whether to be overly concerned, or just tuck them back under. Thoughts?
