How long did you wait to check for cooling? Usually it's at least a couple hours before you really notice anything. I start mine up 12-24 hours before I leave. I have had my TT in my driveway, where I can't get it level (close, but not level) front to back because of the slope, and the fridge has always worked for me (in my previous TT's, which have the same fridge).

If anyone has a solution for an outside TV mount, I'd love to hear it. Pirate games outside during the summer, and Penn State games in the fall, is my favorite part of camping... Well, other than the quality family time, of course.

Overnight. Water circulating sounds. I guess it's just not level enough. Oh well...I'll let it run on gas while we're driving and stick stuff in a cooler with ice until we're there.
Lesson learned. Thanks guys.

Or get an 800 dollar portable fridge/freezer! Lol
Are the camper fridges suppose to be turned off after each trip? I run mine until im done camping for the year.
As for a tv mount, i just realized they didnt inclued a base with the tv! Ill have to look into that now. I keep a 4' table right by the outside cable jack, be nice to put the tv on top some times.

What do you guys use to wax your campers? Our last two campers I just used a wash-n-wax... But I'm not sure if that's enough. I have to park on the street (low "development" type traffic) to wash it, so it's not all that convenient to do so.

Ran the fridge 2 hours on propane. Heard it start up. Nothing. Plugged in at the campground for 5 hours. Nothing. Read the manual and can't see anything wrong. It's on and on auto. Gurgling away and not cooling a thing.

Umpty, where is that little slide tab on your fins? Isn't that your temp control? I had no idea how to control temp until i read up on it, the up/down height and which fin it's on matters somewhat.

It's on the right-most fin all the way up. I read it only moves it about 5 degrees off the preset.

Well, can't be that then, ours got too cold there. Sorry it couldn't be that simple, Umpty.
KDH, that looks very relaxing! Such a sharp looking camper. We just get to visit ours in storage tonight.

That darn fridge is going to give me an ulcer! Plugged in for 24h and the freezer floor is chilly (not freezer cold though) while the fridge is cool at best but nowhere near fridge temps. Heading out to buy a thermometer now.

Wish I could help Umpty but I do know they take a long time to cool down (keep that door closed). Plus if Sun is out and heating the coach, that will add required time. We always get ours the day before loading/leaving. We plug it in and turn it on as soon as we get it home. It's cold by the next morning. Good Luck!

Hallelujah!!! Freezer and fridge are at temp! I got the thermometer and freezer was at 45F and fridge was at 55F on a cloudy 65 day. This morning (36h total run time) temps were in normal ranges. Whew!

Maiden voyage pics. Warrior Creek Campground at W Kerr Scott Reservoir in NC. Site was entirely level. Easiest setup imaginable. Just what a rookie needs!
BTW, what is the outside orange light for? Blue LED worked well with the fire and caused quite the conversation between the sites. 😃

...as quick as the fridge was ok...it later died. Left for the day and when we got back the fridge was at 60F and the freezer was 50F. It had been running since Thurs at 3:00 on shore power. I just switched it to has just to see what it does and I'll check it in the morning.
That's the only thing 'bad' to happen on the first outing. Sucks though. Brand new camper and the fridge isn't working. Lost food too. Good thing we did a close trip with stores nearby.

Looks great! You guys have such nice gravel/grass camp grounds, ones on the island here aren't set up like that.
I use the orange light more plus i added the orange step lights, that blue is a tad bright!
