My wife likes the matress lol, i can sleep on anything. We did add a foam topper, prolly add something thicker in time.

I have a 18v makita blower which i use to blow the slide off, just gotta figure out a better way to get up there, might get one of those ladders that fit in the bumper.

I'm not sure if this has been answered yet or not, but for ours we had to out the TV on "music mode" for the sound to play on the stereo speakers.

We used a standard queen... it fits snug into the space... and no need to extend the base. You just have to make sure you buy a mattress that can flex... not a solid frame. Most are flex these days, but some still have the wooden frame. Went in through the door pretty easy... It took a little bit of forcing to get it in between the closets... but went without too much effort... those extra few inches are golden.

Here's the one we picked up... we have a 3" memory foam on top of this...

Thanks for the info! I assume it's under settings somewhere... Connection wise I didn't see anything coming FROM the TV to the stereo.

Distance between wheels?

I am looking to do a DIY wheel chock system that would behave similar to the X-Chock and I am not near our 2014 288BHS trailer.

Can anyone comment on if they have done this one themselves (and what size they built), or at least be able to tell me how far apart the trailer wheels are from one another at their narrowest point?

it would be something similar to this, for a lot less than the $80 that 2 of these x-chocks would cost.

Much obliged for any assistance!

As far apart as the wheels are, it will have to be big!

So it ended up a full replacement? That stinks. Better now than in July I guess. Good that they're taking care of you.

Wow Cableman that looks awesome! I did a bit of straightening when I installed the Progressive HW30C but nothing like that! I thought about insulating the pump from vibration but I don't plan on much if any boon-docking so I let it be.

Potential new Apex owner/Apex 288BH info

Anybody bored and want to snap a picture of the stock TT valve stem and surrounding wheel? 😀
I need to figure out what type of rubber valve stem support to use until I can get metal stems for my EEZ RV stem mounted TPMS.

The 2 styles I'm looking at are:
Wheel Masters 8029VS 16" Rubber Valve Stem Support https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001V8WG5C..._hjOwvb1RRQEY4

Or

http://www.lufteknic.com/Merchant2/m...de=wheelAccess

I'm trying to save the 20 mile round trip to where I have it stored...

Question about the emergency windows in the bottom bunk and bedroom. I noticed there are screens over the windows. Does anyone open them to get some fresh air? I'm a little nervous since my last TT's emergency window would only open once. Then fall out since it was only to be opened in an emergency...

Figured it would be better to ask a stupid question here rather than have any issues.
