Another nice thing about the Progressive Industries portable... It continuously displays how many amps you're pulling... So a quick look at your pedestal and you can kinda monitor.
It does seem odd, however, that just those three would trip it. We typically run all three on electric. Maybe ran a hair dryer or the microwave too?

I love that remote display! It was showing 32A when I started having issues. I had everything off and was ready to start flipping breakers to narrow it down. Refrigerator and water heater (had just washed lunch dishes so it was on full) were pulling 15A. AC was another 15A.

Hmmm... That kinda stinks... I had a Coleman Mach 15,000btu A/C on my Rockwood and it only pulled 10A. Just had to keep an eye out with everything running. I really wish we had our Coleman back... Much quieter, and apparently, less draw.

Ummm...let's say some guy was flushing his black water tank...on the final flush he closed the valve to get one last good flush....and let's say that guy started putting his hitch on his truck...then he maybe remembered after an unspecified few minutes and saw water running/dripping from underneath the back of the camper...what, if any, issue would there be?
I imagine he checked the camper and all appears normal...
Poor guy...

Oh no... That poor guy. I've heard about others doing the same thing. I'd tell that guy to open up as much as he can and check for where water might have gotten to... And get some fans into that area quickly and run them for a few days. With the camper being so new, and on the final rinse, the black tank shouldn't have had too much "debris"... he should be ok. Dry it out and keep an eye out for mold and treat ASAP if any starts to develop.
Just my 2 penny's.

Vacation this week and I worked ALL day on it!
Installed:
1. Extend-A-Shower - I have exactly what you need and how to do it.
2. Pop-a-plate
3. Pop-a-towel
4. Rewired the battery area and protected with flexible conduit - Cableman inspired!
5. Battery disconnect switch
6. Chain and master lock for battery - ordered a 12V B&D RV battery lock but it doesn't work on ours - we have an extra angle iron - we need the 6V one with a 1/2" plywood spacer.
7. Drilled propane wing nut and bracket to install long shank master lock.
Tomorrow:
1. Wash and protect roof - BEST rubber roof cleaner and protector was recommended by my dealer. Thought I'd try it.
2. Wash RV

I close mine too but shine a flashlight dwn the bowl to see how far along it is. How full do u think it was? Where else would it come out other then the bowl?
I bet ya its the connection at the black water flush! Lift the bottom bunk and look for signs of water on the exterior wall. Id break the outside seal and check it anyway...
Great job on your mods too! I washed mine from trip, oak pollen was so bad! My roof is still full of sap too. Im gonna need to pick up some roof sealer myself.

If you have pics of how you installed, that would be great. I should be receiving mine from Amazon today or tomorrow and will install before our trip next week.
Also... I put an Oxygenics shower head in ours... Works great.

Follow directions on the package. Interior wall was a piece of cake. Exterior was a pain with the styrofoam. Best solution I found was to drill then take dental tools to dig it out while holding a vacuum at the hole. No mess at all.
Pics are of the mounts and the screws I bought at Lowes to use with the mounts since the ones with both the shower and mounts are too long.

Im sure it was as full as it could get. Nothing out of the bowl at all. I checked around underneath and there was a small amount of pooling. Pushed on the cover in the low spot and got it all to drain out.
Everything seems ok for now. I hope there's just an overflow that sends it out the bottom so there'll be no 'internal' issues.

Have you guys ever measured dry tongue weight (loaded to camp though)?
I know it's incredibly dependent on how (and what) it's packed but I am curious.
My Tundra squats 1.5" with the Equalizer WDH. Front stays the same. Thinking of adjusting a bit...

Looks great. Thanks for posting. The wife was unsure if we need it... I think these pictures will convince her.

It's hard to tell from the picture what the extended shower does. It looks like the top of the shower curtain is extended further away from the shower, giving you essentially more elbow room. Did I see that correctly?

That is correct. I just HATE a clingy wet curtain on me when I'm trying to shower.

hello All fellow Apex owners. out on the first trip of the year with our unit and the radio isn't working. I have checked the fuse on the panel and pulled the radio out everything looks to be hooked up fine. Anyone have any troubleshooting for me well out camping?
its a jensen unit 2014 288 BHS
thanks in advanced

Any lights on? From your post it seems like it's entirely dead.
Did it work during the PDI? If so then there is no wiring issue.
If you have a meter, check the supply on the connector. If that's dead and you're sure the fuse is good I'd check power at the breaker box.
Just keep working the power supply angle farther back until you find power. Then it's between where you just measured and the last bad spot.

no lights on at all on the radio. TV works but no radio and that means no DVD either, radio worked all last season. this is a new issue from the start of this season.

I'd definitely start sniffing around with a meter. I wonder if there's an inline fuse somewhere? Some radios have that but I've never looked on ours.

I could be wrong but there might be a fuse on the back of the stereo, i cant remember when i had it all apart but the power might be tied in with the usb chargers above, does the charger ports work?
