power problem

Hoping someone can help me trace this out. I replaced my battery this spring. I can attach a multi-meter to my battery and get around 12.6v DC. However, nothing inside is powering on. I have reset the circuit breakers.

What else can I look at or where to continue troubleshooting?

THanks

If you happen to reverse the battery cables (hook them up backwards - battery cables don't always follow an expected color code), you will blow out the two reverse polarity fuses in your fuse area. They are usually 30-40 amp fuses. The are usually NOT in line with other fuses for water pump, lights, etc., but are together near a sticker that says something like "Reverse Polarity" fuses.

Secondly, check your battery disconnect switch.

If that's not the problem, we'll dig deeper.

There is no disconnect switch on this model. However, you did trigger a memory. I think my wife hooked up both the pos and neg to the same post on the battery while I was testing the tongue jack. I'll go check those two fuses.

If it's not those fuses, look for a small resettable breaker under the tongue. It'll look like a small metal box. It should have a small button on one side of it, but that can be hard to see. It'll have two (or more) wires hooked to it.

Found it. Just outside the battery is a bunch of wires wrapped in tape. There is a 20amp fuse there that was blown.
