Pricing for a 2013 freedom express 292 bhds

Just went to the rv dealer yesterday to look at the 2013 freedom express 292 bhds and loved it. Now the question is, what is a reasonable price to expect from the dealer? MSRP on the one we are looking at is $35,851 and it has the liberty edition, interior and exterior package, power pkg. Dealer has started at $27,995 plus $1,300 in prep, freight. I like the dealer and that is important to me, so I am just looking for a fair deal. So, can anybody tell me approximately what they paid or prices they have seen from others on this model?

Thanks for any help you can give me!

A couple of us got ours a little less then 24K with the camp kitchen, hitch setup and everything out the door. Also, realize, location can have a slight effect on price also. For me, I would even say 27K out of the door would be a good deal for both you and the dealer if it keeps your relations together for warranty work. Good luck!

Ours was just a bit over $24k otd with delivery and hitch setup. I would have to agree that 27k out the door from a reputable dealer would be worth it. I would have paid that had the dealer been local. Had one dealer that was 150 miles away that was at 28k. Dealer 350 miles away got us the 24k with deliv. I would think you could get them down to 25-26k otd.

I got mine for right around $24K OTD with hitch setup, I already had my hitch from the previous trailer. That also included them transporting the unit from TN to FL so it was only 150 miles aways instead of 750 miles. My Retail was $38K.

There is something to be said about buying from a local dealer and having them service it. Find another dealer and see if they will match the price.

Good Luck

Ours was 27K (Cdn) OTD. This included the Husky Centreline and 13% sales tax.

I could have saved about 2K buying in the US, however it is extremely handy having the dealer in town, who has already correct a few warranty issues no questions asked and very quickly.
