Question about dinette and outdoor grill

I own a Coachmen 289tbss. It has the dinette with the two chrome style poles supporting it. The base "collar" is screwed into the floor and there are two more "collars" screwed into the bottom of the table top.

How do I get the table top down to turn it into a bed?

We had the same style dinette in our old pop-up and the table top popped off the poles pretty easily and the poles popped out of the floor collars pretty easily and it took 5 seconds.

We had extra guests this weekend while camping and I couldn't get the top to come off the poles OR the poles come out of the floor and couldn't use that dinette bed. I pulled on the table top hard enough I was worried it would break so I don't think it was just tight.

Do you have to unscrew the base to get it out or is there some secret latch I don't know about?

As for the outdoor grill that's attached on slide rails as part of the camp kitchen... has anyone replaced that with a stovetop vs. grill? If so, is it a direct Coachmen parts replacement or something aftermarket?

Thanks!
