I recently looked into replacing the main TV in our 5er, but the supplied Toshiba TV had the mounting holes much lower on the TV than a same-sized Samsung, so to install the Samsung I'd have had to move the mount.
I may still do that at some point, since the contrast on the Toshiba is terrible, but the Samsung I'd ordered got sent back because the "Super Fast Quad-Core processor" was way slower than on the cheaper Samsung I have in the bedroom (It took about 2 minutes just to bring up the on-screen display. Extremely infuriating)
BTW, our factory-supplied TV was 120v AC, not an RV-specific 12v model.
(I'm sure we paid way over the odds for a pretty terrible TV)
For comparison, Coachmen sells a 40" no name for $495 at invoice pricing, I paid about $400 for a 42" Panasonic LED.
The bedroom TV was a 20" no name for what I believe was about $250. I paid $229 if I recall for a 32" Samsung LED TV (largest that would fit the VESA mounting holes).
Both were smart TV's..
It was well worth not ordering them from the factory and upgrading them... plus getting the mounts for free were a bonus.
