Replacement antenna on Freedom Express 246RKS

I want to replace the antenna on our Freedom Express and was wondering if anyone on here has done that and what did you run into? Is there a alternative that fits easily?

Are you talking about the TV? If you have the bat wing, yes, I recommend the jack, I did that and got really 3xs the channels. It easy you pull two pins and hook back up the cable, a 10 min job. I think they cost around 40 bucks or so, but you won't be sorry. It still works the same and will lay down on the roof.

No I'm sorry I don't, but I know Amazon sells them, plus any RV store. It's a direct replacement for the garbage bat wing, I'll look at Amazon and post a screen shot of my recommendation.

The jack requires a larger roof hole to control the rotation, Bat wing that is used on this trailer only has a small hole for the wire.

I have a 2014 246RKS. I don't have any way to adjust my batwing antenna so in order to install one of these, they'll have to drill through the roof to install the controller. I'm not sure about the newer ones but the stock one I have is worthless.

I'd really like to install a different one but not sure I want anyone drilling holes in my roof.

I'll be following this thread.

Same here. I have a 2015 246RKS. Looking forward to see how it can be handled as we have no "antenna aiming" on the current one and no hole for a turn knob to pass through to a new antenna.

I had same problem in the same tt 246rks. Went with sensor 4 in the end couldn't find a replacement head so bit the bullet and cut the hole. Glad I did installation went smooth and antenna is superior

If I put up an external post and a new antenna, can I run the cable to the "cable"in on the outside of the trailer? Then connect my tv to that jack instead?

I awesome you mean a post you put up and then take down when you travel. And yes that would work
