shades

Good morning,
This is my first time with shades in my travel trailer. My old unit had blinds. While In transit, do you travel with he shades up or down?

While stored, I am told by my dealer shades should be up to preserve the pleats. I am also trying to figure out how to attach reflective material to the windows to reduce sun damage while the shades are up. Velcro doesn't seem to work well. I live in the Phoenix area and it gets kinda warm here in the summer.

Appreciate any input on the above.

Thanks,

Jim

Always keep ours down while traveling.

DW modified some car foiled SunShileds which she uses in key areas. No Velcro. just wedged in some how.
