Slide gasket loose

I noticed last week that the slide gasket for one of my slides was being pulled out when the slide was being extended. I had to pull the staples out of it and wrestle with it to get the U-channel part of the gasket re-seated around the wall opening. Of course now the gasket is not secure and extending and retracting the slide has become a chore, as I have to have the DW move the slide in and out as I attempt to hold the gasket in place. I know that it should be covered under warranty but I am concerned that they will have to remove the slide to re-secure it and in doing so will never have the slide installed as good as it is now. I also have another slide that needs to be adjusted in so the bottom is fully seated when closed, but I am going to do that my self. Appears to be a straight forward adjustment.

Has anyone tried a different method to secure the slide gasket?
