slide module failure-grateful it was caught by dealer

Our Coachmen Pursuit had 2 minor issues to have done under warranty.

When they moved it out of the bay, the mechanic noticed the slide was out a couple of inches. He closed it up and a few hours later, it was out again.

They called forest river and was told that a batch of slide control modules were bad for a period of time. It is under warranty, they are sending one out.

Thankfully, I wasn't driving down the highway when it happened.
I was told that was a possibility but not a certainty.

Two take aways,
1. These manufacturers need to be regulated like automobiles.
2. Keep an eye out on your slides. Don't assume you left yours out if you don't think you did.

I work for an automobile manufacturing facility and I have watched year over year how the cost of quality is free. The cost of a bad reputation or paying for these repairs isn't free either.
