Eternabond is the only thing I would use. It comes in different widths depending on your needs.

2" Eternabond

4" Eternabond

X2 on eternabond. Be careful and plan accordingly, as once it's down its down for life!

As a for instance, one of my past 5'ers suffered a small crack in the acylic tub floor. After using the different repair kits with no luck, I stuck a small piece of tape over it and when traded away 2 years later still no leaks. Great stuff!

Preparation is one important factor. Cleaning of the surface to be taped and using clean tape is essential. Eternabonds website has good tips on how to clean surfaces
