Thank you coachmen factory
I kindly submit the following so that others may solve the very problem I experienced.
I own a 2018 28RKS (Brand new). I spent 2 months gluing, screwing, and securing all of the minor defects known. I used it for a week with minor issues and then I decided to fill the kitchen sink with a little water to do dishes. Almost immediately, my $10.00 Harbor freight water alarm went off and found a deluge of water leaking from the sink drain. OK..no problem.... probably just needs to be tightened (Which it did). Unfortunately, upon tightening there was only a minor change in the leak. Being a contractor, the next move was to pull the sink drain (Basket) and figure out why it was leaking. Guess what? There was NO washer and NO puddy. It was simply put in there with NO seal at all. I of course pulled the right side and although loose, it had a flimsy seal between the basket and sink. Needless to say, I replaced both with quality SS baskets and installed them correctly. During this process, I also found a plastic pipe nut which was tightened way to much and it crushed the gasket causing a minor leak in the piping.
CONCLUSION: Leaking water destroys an RV (Period). There is NO acceptable areas which should leak. Place a piece of cardboard under all your drain fittings and should you find even a drop, fix it now so mold and wood rot will not occur. Great forum and I hope this helps others
