Too friendly neighbors, what should I do?

What do you do when your Campground neighbors are too friendly?

1. Stay away from your RV as long as possible before going back to it?
2. Wear camouflage and sneak in and out of the RV?
3. Be outright rude and alienate them?
4. Smile and pretend to be deaf as they speak to you?

Let just say we've had some issues and need some suggestions.

Thanks Everyone!

Option 5. Nod and smile, be polite until they go away. Have this happen fairly regularly, and I am too nice to be rude. I generaly tolerate people well, though. Had they guy and his kids next door make a couple appearances at our campfire uninvited. We just had some small talk and let them go back to their business after a half an hour or so. You meet some interesting people at campgrounds! lol

Put on a tin foil hat and ask "have they've landed yet"

I just wear my speedos around camp and that way even friendly neighbors stay away.

Invite your SPECIAL OTHER friends whom only you can see and hear. Have a tea party with your childhood tea set with the whole group.

Very funny. You guys are scary. Maybe the tinfoil hat while wearing the speedos?

You could sing everything you say, or just act emo, nobody likes to talk to emo people. "I cut myself to make sure I still feel"

You may attract some other neighbors with the Speedo.

Never had this problem. I enjoy meeting and talking to other people in campgrounds, so it really doesn't bother me. Now, if they were to the point of spending all their time in my campsite and hindering my family activities, it might be different. In that case, I'd either blow them off politely or just load everybody up in the truck and leave them standing.

If they're in your campsite, just go in your TT until they get the hint and leave. If they don't get the hint, then it is time for you to man up and politely tell them that you go camping to get away from the rat race and to relax by yourselves. If they STILL don't get it, then leave your site whenever they show up.

Some of these replies are hilarious. Reminds me of the movie RV with Robin Williams...!! In all seriousness tho', sometimes it is a problem. It's why I like Wal Mart..!

Get a pitbull, german sheperd, or other dog that people generally freak out about. We have a pit mix and she does the job, even though she wouldn't hurt a soul, she weighs 50 pounds and my Sisters 5 pound yapper whipped up on her the other day. She just sat there like, WHAT???? I honestly was waiting for Alley to grab that lil yapper dog up and snap its neck, but she didn't, lol
