they sale RV to anyone that has the cash most have never towed anything ever and shouldn't be behind the wheel of a car let alone a rig that's 55' or longer .But it's a free country so we deal with it . if the frame can't handle a 1200 lbs tow load then it can't handle a 8000 lbs box on top of it

Surely does....that's why my rig is maintained by the book and I'm not near gross weight capacity of my TT or my TV.

I also noticed how the OP has no information about what his TT weight was before he added this 2000 lbs to the mix, nor is there information about what he's towing his 7000# trailer with.

One more thing.....How's this thing supposed to STOP?

Not wanting to be harsh but lives can be at stake..............
Live are at stake also when people that should not even drive are hauling long rigs . also when water tanks fall out because the manufecture does not install correctly or support correctly or when they list axles as 5000lbs when they are only 4000 . FR and other RV makers cause more safty issue then someone pulling a atv trailer behind their tt . lets take a look at them using the cheapest tires they can find and have the tires not capable of supporting a full loaded TT or fiver or Th

As usual this post is turning to personal beliefs and not so many facts. Way to much speculation.

Towing doubles works, that's all there is too it. Anything can fail if it's outside it's limits. Stay within the limits, all is well.

He asked for it when he said he was "Looking for opinions please." Personal Beliefs are Opinions.

My last RV was a 30' 5er toy hauler that I towed with an F-350. I built my own hitch using a truck receiver from a junk yard. I mostly went to the Imperial Sand Dunes with it all winter. I would have my 2 seater sand rail inside and a couple of quads and dirt bikes on a trailer behind it. Perfectly legal and towed with no issues. I also towed my jet skis behind it when we went to Bullhead City/Laughlin to play on the river in the summer.I don't know if towing with a tag is legal in AZ. We see all kinds of towing setups around here because we can play in our state all year round.

Thirdly if you know your limitations and you take your time it all works just fine! Thank you for your input.
Glad you went to someone you trust. That is all you can do. We hook up our swivel wheel again in a couple of weeks and will add more miles to it. Good luck and safe travels.

Please post your travel itinerary so I know to avoid those roads while you're on them.
