What will the combined weigh of the AT/UTV it's trailer and what ever else you plan on towing?
What is the current weight limit of our units bumper? (mine is 300 pounds)
Which model is your express?
Is the bed of your TV not an option?

I would not do it. the frame on the Freedom Express is probably not strong enough to tow anything. The bumper is designed to have nothing attached to it. At a min, you will void warranty, you may also incur some legal liability.

Hi! My FE is a 242RBS. Truck bed not at option. Bumper will not be used as prt of the "towing" system. Towing will be welded onto regular frame. Weight of trailer/atv = 2,000 lbs.

Do you have a trusted frame or welding shop around? Get some measurements of your frame (size of I-beam [is it an I-beam?], thickness of steal of the frame, your GVWR of the trailer and your actual weight). Talk to them about what you want to do. If they are experienced and honest, they will be able to tell you if it is ok or not, what enhancements to the frame should be made, and the cost.
If you have a warranty, consider it gone regarding the structure, once you add the hitch.
Good luck.

It's a tag - along, flat out answer and recommendation from me is NO.
Your coach doesn't have the mass and stability to control another trailer and payload behind it.
Besides, the frame on most of these nowadays are barely adequate to start with.

I totally concur.
Sheet metal fabricated I beam that can just barely hold the bumper and spare.
Having a "professional" weld in a hitch?
Never in a hundred years.
the frame at the point the hitch will be fine, anything forward of that is now compromised.
Take two vehicles like I do or forget this idea.
Btw I have an actual 11" structural I beam frame and I still wouldn't do it.
This one quite certainly may have found out.

I may be wrong but I have always been under the impression that 2 bumper pulls was illegal. I think the first has to be a fifth wheel hitch. Either way, it's not something I would recommend.

I wouldnt do it either. I remember the thread that Turbs is speaking of, dont think it worked out for that poster either. Two thousand pounds is a lot of weight behind your trailer......

I think double-tow threads need to be banned...

A ban is unnecessary. It's way too popular of a question to shun people. After all that's what forums are for! It is pretty much the same responses everytime though.
Maybe the forum can have a read-only post with ALL the links to the same double tow questions. After reading those posts the person inquiring should be educated enough to where they can make their own judgment call so we don't have too.

Done it. Pulled a drift boat behind my TT. Kept it under the max length and it pulled just fine. Legal in Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah and others but not legal in Oregon and Washington. So I bought a toy hauler. I can fit the drift boat and trailer in the toy hauler now so I can stop tent camping on drift boat trips to those states.

Get a bigger TV and put it in the bed or get a toy hauler. What you are trying to is illegal in most places and your trailer's frame simply isn't designed to tow anything.
Just don't.

First and foremost you guys don't know your laws by state instead of assuming that it's against the law.
Secondly, I took this TV to an experienced frame guy who said yes it would work. He wasn't up for the money I trust this man hundred percent.
Thirdly if you know your limitations and you take your time it all works just fine! Thank you for your input.
