TV mount

Anybody mount a flat tv wall mount on the back wall btw the bunks above the cabinet on a 292 bhds? Can it be done? It is for a 19" lcd.

I was looking at that area as well, but typically they have a sticker on the wall indicating it's ok to mount the TV in a certain spot. I am planning to just lay the TV on a bed during travel. Just one more thing to have to do!

right now i put it in the styrafoam edges it came in the box and set it in the storage compartment between the beds.

The dealer actually added the bracket for a flat wall mount. The problem with that is if your on the bottom bunk you can't see the TV. I swapped out the flat mount for a swivel mount. I added a buckle strap to secure it while traveling. It has worked fine for last season and the grand kids are happy they can all watch the tv.

yea, that is what I want. A telescoping wall mount that tilts so the bottom bunk can see. right now we prop the back of the tv fwd so the btm bunk can see it clearly.

Scubanut, do you know how they mounted it?

They used a modified flat bracket that was not really designed for the location. I think there was either 4 or 6 1.5 inch screws mounted directly to the back wall. When I took it off I used the same location to attach the mount is replaced it with. I used 6 screws to attach and it is holding good.

I added. 24 inch LED TV.

if u only have the shelf to set the tv on can u mount to that shelf thought about sandwiching 2 pieces of plywood one on top off shelf and one on bottom of shelf and using nut and bolts wanting to mount a 20 inch with swivel mount would this work

Can you post some pics of this setup, as now you have my interest. I was look to mount a bracket on front TV so you could bring it out a few inches in order to leave your bedroom doors open while the TV is on in the bedroom on the 292.

I haven't done it yet was wanting to see if this would work I think it will the shelf is for a tv and a 20 inch isn't to big u can use some good grade plywood stain it to match your shelf when I get it done I will post pics
