Want to tow atv

Hi all, I'm thinking of getting an atv and towing it behind my freedom express 242rbs. Any thoughts?? My truck will handle it just fine, it's putting a small hitch on the coachman I'm concerned about!!

towing double on the hitch is against the law in just about every state, you have to have a 5er to do this. since you have a TT put the atv in the bed

X2... put the quad in the truck bed. I run with my golf cart or quad in the bed of my truck while towing my camper without issues.

I've thought about that as well. Only issue is my truck has a 5.5 bed!😀

That one is home made, but there are commercial versions out there.

And then there are these which I see more of because you can carry two.

The Ultimate Rack for transporting your ATV, Quad with your Truck, Pickup. ATV and Quad Carrier and transportation system for your Pickup Truck. No trailers needed, The Ultimate Rack transports up to 2 ATVs or Quads with your Pickup Truck

I am able to get my tailgate most of the way closed with my Honda Rancher in my 5'5" bed, I use a strap from the back of the ATV to the bumper of the truck to hold the tailgate up. Gives me plenty of clearance for the trailer.
