I just use a mild soap or Murphy, seems to work well on the roof, overall RV I like to use a wash wax, many on the market. For waxing and I have been using it for years is NUfinish , in the orange bottle, you can get it anywhere. Easy on and easy off. When your done , and if you have decals, spay them with 303 for UV protection....

Witch Doctor, decals need to be spayed? Does the hitch get neutered? I guess that depends what you are towing with...!!!!!
Sorry....had to get it out of my system this morning!
X2 on NuFinish, by the way. Easy to use, lasts a while too.

Yes, I don't like bottles multiplying, it turns ugly. Good catch professor

X3 NUfinish. I used paste the first time (harder to remove). Will use the liquid next time.
I like Gel-Gloss RV Wash and Wax - 128 oz. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0027M3A1U...p_mob_ap_share
I use it on the roof, RV, truck, etc. I keep a small squirt bottle in the trailer to get bugs off the front cap after a days drive.
Finally I use CorrosionX 61002 Rejex 16oz Bottle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0006V0LNY..._qeuFCb8KBDSYM. For the front cap.

I don't care what wax you use, but you still should use 303 on any decals, it has the UV protection you just spay it on and wipe it off , you can find it at Amazon, but now I have seen it more and more in places like Napa, this stuff is great.

For those of you that are fans of 303 Protectant, and I include myself in that camp....you may want to check out 303's new addition...303 Touchless Sealant...it's a spray on and rinse off product, no wiping. It requires water to activate it, therein lies the rinse off. It is said to be long lasting, will protect decals at same time and safe for gelcoats. It appears to be another winner for the makers of 303.

Probably wouldn’t work as well with hard water we have that creates terrible spots when left to dry

Although it sounds like once you have rinsed it with water, it's job is done and then you would be ok to dry it off as you normally would. I belong to a couple of car detailing forums, and several car detailers are pretty high on the product.

I hear ya, my water is very hard to, it's a killer on Windows and everything else. I just had my spot free rinse system delve. I was paying like a 150 dollars to have my RV washed and dried, can't keep doing that. The system cost 230 dollars. We will see how good it is. They say it can clean 45 cars or 7 40' RVs before a recharge is needed. The cost for the crystals to recharge is 80.00. That would be a yearly cost for me. It looks like a scuba tank, and you can take it with you if you wanted. I'll let you know how it works in couple of more weeks when it warms up here a little more.

I've had great success with Murphy Oil Soap on my roof - bucket of water with a few ounces of Murphy Oil and a soft-bristled brush on a 5' handle. Brush gently, rinse. But, make sure you rinse off the sides of the trailer relatively quickly.
And yes, Aero 303 on the cap(s) and decals.
