Our new 2015 Apex 288BHS. One season in a 2012 RPod 182G... Two seasons in a 2014 Rockwood 2306... Just picked up the Apex and spent 3 nights. 3 more nights planned before winterizing and putting it away for the winter. Love the camper so far.

Wow, a lot of really nice Coachmen TTs out there. I feel I have an antique model. Just purchased a 2006 Spirit of America 26DBD. Very first camper. I have only tent camped, guess that's the Boy Scout in me. Haven't gotten to take it out just yet. Planning on in the next couple of weekends.

We have a 2015 Coachmen Chaparral 360IBL and got it in February. However we didn't get our truck until Mother's Day. Since then we've done 32 days of use with it and really do like it. Have made a few "comfort" mods and haven't had any issues so far.

Bill, what are, what looks like white lights, for on the front of your trailer? How do they operate? Have you had a chance to use them?

You wouldn't by chance be a Tennessee fan, would you???

Liking the TV mod ...did you add a "permanent" mount outside or is it just a temp set up?

The TV mount is one I bought on Amazon. It came with two mounts. One in Bedroom and one outside. I also rewired the coax connections per a youtube video so I can use my dish receiver anywhere or run on cable or use the sorry antenna that came with unit.

Good deal!
Might add an outside mount to my never ending list of "wanted mods"

For the stock Batwing antenna I bought one of these and it made a tremendous difference. Fairly cheap and ridiculously simple to install

2016 Clipper 179FQ - since Aug 2015.

The walk-around Queen bed was the selling point.

Hi All,

My name is Jay and am new to the forum. Thought I would say "HEY"!

We are the owner of a new 2016 Coachmen Freedom Express Liberty Edition 322RLDS. We picked it up in June of this year and have been camping locally around mid Michigan as well at my brothers property up north to get used to this new rig.

Our first 4 months with this trailer have been an "adventure" all by itself and I am not even counting the areas we have camped so far. Not meaning to vent here, but was wondering if others incur this type of "excitement" with their new trailers.

In September, we dropped our brand new trailer back off to the dealership with a list of over 2 dozen "issues" that needed to be addressed under warranty. AC that never gets cold, storage door, frame and all, fell off the dinette, large tear in the back of the hide a bed sofa as well as a couple other holes in the back of the cushions, the power awning broke the second time we used it and a black tank valve that refused to seal after the first few uses were just a few of the "joys" we have encountered since owning this trailer. Oh, and I would be remiss if I left this out. The screw connector on the water line to the toilet split and started spraying water all over the bathroom the second night we stayed in it and two days after that, the valve under the bathroom sink literally exploded the first time I used the black tank flush valve on the trailer. Both times we had water running down the hallway before we noticed anything wrong. There are more little goodies I could mention but that should give you a general idea of our "adventures" so far.

We are getting it back tomorrow from the dealership (after 5 weeks of them working on it) and are leaving for Florida in a few days for our first extended trip. I can't wait to see what else this new trailer has in store for us!

The keyword in your statement of "supposedly", at least in this instance, is a fallacy at least in the sense that the dealer was telling me that things like the AC unit not working was a Dometic issue and not a Coachmen issue and he had to wait for a couple weeks for Dometic to decide whether to try to fix the existing unit or replace it all together, which is what they did after 3 calls (1 dealer, 2 by me) to Dometic.

I still have a few outstanding issues that are identified but aren't resolved yet (mainly fabric on hide a bed, they are debating on whether to reupholster or replace the unit) and will have to wait until spring because we need to "get out of dodge" before the weather turns.

ID:	936812012 Catalina 271BH. Had it right at 2 weeks now. Just made reservations in Myrtle Beach in 2 weeks for my wife's annual Christmas Shopping trip. Takes me 365 days of not getting hurt to earn my safety bonus. Takes her about 48 hours to spend it.[emoji3]

We bought a 2016 Coachman Apex 300BHS about 4 weeks ago and have used it once, going out again this weekend to Stone Mountain State Park.

There is a bunk with entertianment center on the opposite side. We have made a few minor mods with regards to storage solutions and a mattress pad for the horrendous mattress the bedroom came with.

So far its been perfect for our needs!
