Where to mount a TV in a 2017 Clipper 17BH

Hello all, I just bought my first trailer, a 2017 Clipper 17BH! I want to install a TV to the right of the entrance at the foot of the bed above the window (my version doesn't have a cabinet there). I bought a articulating wall mount at home depot. I felt the walls and there seems to be 2 studs, but the outer wall seems very thin and I am skeptical about mounting a TV there, however this would be the most ideal place for me to mount it. My other option is mounting to the cabinet perpendicular to that wall in the corner and then swing the TV on a 90 degree angle so we can watch in bed. But, are the cabinets in these things really sturdy enough to hold a TV?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Where to mount a TV in a 2017 Clipper 17BH

Hi!

My hubby installed our tv bracket on the end of the upper cabinets, facing the bed. It is very sturdy and we haven't had any issues with it! Ours is a Clipper 17FQ.

That is where ours is mounted on a swivel so it can be viewed from the table or bed.

Here are the pics of our television mount. Sorry that it took me so long to post them. I don't think it took my hubby very long at all to install the mount.

Good luck with your mods!!!

I mounted ours on the wall between the cabinets and the window. I found the stud and purchased shorter screws to replace the ones that came with the mount. I can take more pictures of the mount itself if you are interested.

Ours is mounted on the end of the cabinet like the above pics. No issues in 2 years. We have a 17 FQ.

I have a 17bh and put the tv above the window next to the door. There is a stud there and it supports it well. You can see it from the bed, dinette and the bunks.
