Why do so many RV's have brown interior?

Enough already with brown, beige, maple and all other shades of brown. Why do we have to have so much brown? Yuck!!!!!!

I have a 2005 Georgetown which is in excellent condition with low miles. I plan to sell it in a few years and I would like to get a class C Coachman Leprechaun with bunk-beds, but they all have brown or beige interior. I would like to find one with cherry oak interior with black flooring which I know would be impossible to find. I would at least like to find one with cherry oak cabinets, clack refrigerator and stove.
Why, why, why all the shades of brown?????????

I always thought it was because the brown tones were neutral and then people could add their own accents with color. Just my guess though.

Cherry was quite popular in 2013 and 14 when we ordered our last trailer, in fact we ordered it in Cherry finish, but they seem to have done away with that colour now....must not have been a big hit.

ID:	135697That is exactly why we ordered our 2017 Wildcat Max. We didn't want brown/tan. So we ordered what they call light pebble. It is a light grey.

FR probably gets a deal on it in quantity.....lol

If you buy a Prevost or a Newell, you can get it in any interior color combo you want. Just need a huge wallet or a rich uncle.

We had one rig that was shades of red inside. Was different and kinda cool at first, but got old pretty quick. Now we enjoy our brown insides with color accents of our choice

My wife hates brown, so it is hard to purchase a camper. Looking at the XLR's because of the Black furniture and not brown.

We went with the Cayenne Shadow décor for our Apex. Like you, we are not fans of the browns. We actually almost bought a Grand Design trailer, but it only came in a dark brown chocolate color.... uggghh.

With the cayenne it does offer other colors, rust, blue-gray, and the sofa and dinette are both a light gray.

Check out the new Dynamax Class C Isata 4. It shows an ash decor available with light grey furniture and I think it has black appliances. The Isata 4 is a few dollars more but the quality is hard to beat. One of the best paint jobs in the industry and Brian Clemens who is the GM is on the forum.

The following floor plan is not the right colors but you can see it reeks of quality:

We have friends with an older SOB class A. It's in great shape until you go inside. Eggshell and baby blue might have looked good new but it's pretty tired now. The sofas are about threadbare from cleaning. Brown would hide so much more.

Rich Uncle doesn't share, he found a way to take it with him when he past.

Yeah, it wasn't too long ago that the popular color choices were pastels, taupe, and mauve, etc. The cabinetry was a white washed look or vey light natural color too.

Yup Browns much better than the older reds and one trailer we had was shades of darker green.

Our previous Chaparral had the optional Monterey Haze which was off white. It was very durable and easy to clean. Never saw it before or since.

Brown interiors are the worst. My last TT had an off white interior that I absolutely LOVED. People tried to persuade me against buying that TT but the off white made it look larger and brighter inside. Now I've got a brown and tan interior in the new TT and while I really like the TT, I hate the interior colors. I could not find a TT that I liked the floorplan that had a lighter interior and I could not afford to have one built. So I've got a dark brown interior and I look forward to the day when lighter interior colors are options again.

I would prefer earth tones - blue, beige, etc that you can match various colors to easily.

I hate the color décor in our 5th (oh we are S.O.B, Montana High Country) But love the floor plan. So I am trying to live with Black w/gold and silver design Curtains. Dark wood cabinets, with dark wood blinds. Floor is medium Brown with Grey streakes. I have been lucky to find items that go with the color scheme so it is warming up with me. But on side note: I saw a while back how someone put up the sticky tile for around the kitchen area. Love it and will do it. Believe it will even help lighten the dark décor.
