Why Isn't....

Coachmen trailers available through wholesale websites like RV Direct and RVW? I see those 2 places have a lot of Forest River brands, but not Coachmen.

What gives???

RVW used to sell some Coachmen lines but seems to have dropped them for other lines.

Maybe it was issues with prices or quality.

You could try asking ddurnell. He is with rv wholesalers and is on these forums.

I have no idea, just a possibility. Quality is an issue for ALL brands.

I would think it was either profit margin or name recognition. Honestly, I looked at over a dozen brands last year when I was looking for a mid-bunk 5er to replace my old bunk house. I completely forgot about Coachmen until I had seen all the other brands within a 3 hour drive and didn't like them. I was looking for any other dealers within the radius and found a place I wasn't aware of. They carried Coachmen and I said, "Oh Ya! Forgot about them."

We have a 17 292BHDS Liberty Edition and love it. Aside from little minor issues like a loose screw or two we have had no build issue
