I wouldn't worry about limiting to 30 psi if your compressor is small. I have a small 1 gal tank air compressor similar to this one:

It pumps up to 110 psig. I then tell the wife to open a faucet and I let her rip. It drops pressure very quickly. Then I let it pump up again and do the next faucet. The water lines don't really see a lot of pressure. I've done this 3 seasons, no problems.
