Winterizing mod: Clipper

Wanting to winterize my 2013 Clipper 17FQ but don't have an air compressor that I can limit to 30 PSI.

I don't use the freshwater tank, so I really don't want to put 4 gallons of antifreeze in it. That's the only option presented, apart from the compressed air method.

Has anyone modded the pump access to make a hose connection that so that the pump will pull from the jugs themselves? My dad's Wildwood came pre-constructed like that, making it very easy for him to pump antifreeze through his system.

If so, should I mod upstream or downstream of the wire filter?

I wouldn't worry about limiting to 30 psi if your compressor is small. I have a small 1 gal tank air compressor similar to this one:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Campbell-H...ressor/9189093.

It pumps up to 110 psig. I then tell the wife to open a faucet and I let her rip. It drops pressure very quickly. Then I let it pump up again and do the next faucet. The water lines don't really see a lot of pressure. I've done this 3 seasons, no problems.

I have a 2013 Clipper and mine has a hose you can use for drawing from the jug on it. It's behind the panel the pump is behind.
The fitting at the end of the hose was up at the top of the opening, didn't realize what it was until I was practically laying in the floor.
I didn't have anything to screw on to it but had a piece of tubing that fit snugly inside the fitting. Worked great. Just did it today.
Taking it to storage tomorrow.
