2016 351thss loving it!!!

We traded our 2016 Cherokee Grey Wolf 27RR in on a 2016 351THSS and so glad we did! 5th wheel is so much easier to maneuver and to pull and tons more room!!!

Well we picked it up Friday morning, went straight to a rock crawling OHV park in TN, camped in it all weekend and the only mod I have found necessary is I turned the 32" television to the bedroom side and mounted our 39" television on the living room side.
(I had already bought the 39" and had it in our 27RR so it was just sitting there in a box begging to be put to use)

Other than that I really can't think of any other mods to do at this point.

Home from another weekend in the 351THSS. Still love it and the only issue I have is backing up my driveway which is too steep to be messing with, but I really have no other options............

Now both of the 'triangle guards' that are welded to the rear frame rails are smashed flat. LOL Spare tire has some obvious drag marks on the side wall. I'm going to take spare off of mount under trailer and put it in garage and see if anything still drags on the next trip out. If not, I'll call it good, and if there is still some dragging I will add some sort of drag rollers to the frame or rear bumper.

What do yall use to remove black streaks off of the aluminum siding?

I smashed one of those "triangle guards" 3 weeks ago, drug the spare and all just like you. Pulled the spare down and got out of the, yes, campground. What an ignorant driveway. The spare mount is a complete afterthought, the tire tightens up against one crossmember and the winch shaft. I'm relocating mine further forward to just behind the axles. I was going to fix the triangle thing, but without the spare there's no reason too. I already relocated the license plate onto the bumper or that would have been ripped off too.

I can't say on the black streaks. I have a few but haven't gotten to wash it since I sprained my ankle 4 weeks ago.

I dropped my spare down tonight to store it in the garage area and saw that it tightens against the winch shaft and about crapped myself... What a stupid design!!! lol I keep a spare tire/wheel for the RZR in the garage at all times and now the trailer spare will reside there as well. Our RZR has 15" of ground clearance so the spares being in the garage floor is no big deal for us and if someone is camping with us the bed drops down over spares and nobody even knows they are there.

Now to order a shower head and buy 2 recliners. Going to try the eco-camel shower head setup and going to remove the dinette setup and put a pair of recliners in its place. (my wife and I have never used our dining room table at home when its just us and we have no kids soooo..........)

Congrats. I have the same exact model just a 2015 version. Funny you are removing the dinette. That was the reason we bought it.

I definitely agree that the spare tire is in a ridiculous spot. It actually bent my rear bumper (if you will) back when coming out of a steep drive from a restaurant. Made me sick to my stomach but you know what......oh well. I will try to fix it and remove the tire from that position. Actually thinking about getting the BAL hideway tire rack and place it closer to axle position.
