351THSS Nose Cap Fading

Purchase my new toy hauler in March and already the fiberglass nose cap has faded or oxidized on the top across to each of the clearance light. I've always noticed the poor quality of paint luster covering the entire painted service including swirl marks imbedded a few areas.

Question; is anyone else experiencing same issues and and tried to involve Forest River with the poor quality of workmanship. I am currently working with Camping World with this warranty issue but it is starting to drag out on waiting for repair authorization from Forest River. Pictures were sent 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for any thoughts or feedbacks

I have the tin front cap on mine, so no fiberglass to deal with there.

I have had mine outdoors for the last 3 winters in the Florida sun. I notice no quality problems with the paint on my nosecap, and no fading. Interior trim quality issues is another story.

My 2015 crusader is faded badly. FR say sorry bout your luck. The fix is to sand, paint, and clearcoat. Figure about $ 2000 or so. Good luck.....

It took 6mos. but with the Camping World's backing of their "higher-ups", they persuaded Forest River to cover the fading nose cap under warranty. Instead of sanding and repainting, a new nose cap and decals was sent and the job was completed. It took a lot of persistence, and my THSS looks new again.
