Fed up with Orlando Rv

I can't believe the customer service of Orlando Rv before the sale is even complete... I ordered a Columbus 3650 Toyhauler back in August. I received two phone calls this weekend leaving messages that it was in...Today I get a call wanting to know when I was coming in to sign the paperwork. I told them I would be in Thursday to go over the unit and when I ok it, I will sign the paperwork. I was informed they don't do it that way, I was to verify the accessories, sign the paperwork then we would go over the PDI after it went thru service, after it was mine...I emailed the salesman that I would sign the paperwork after I inspect the unit, then I get a phone message from a female Manager demanding to know when I'm coming in to sign my paperwork. I don't even buy a car without looking it over and test driving let alone a high dollar toyhauler.....

maybe they have another buyer and could care not about you. tell them to pack sand if they continue to hound you about signing the paperwork

X2. You are in control of the deal. Either they play by your terms or walk away.....fast.

I'm new here, and I have a question about this. I also have a dealer trying to get me to sign paperwork ahead of time.

The insurance agent I got for my future RV told me that they can't keep a deposit under the circumstances of the OP. Correct?

Just a point of clarification...did you order your TH through RV Direct with pick up at Orlando RV or did you order it through Orlando RV?

Inspect, have them fix any issues and sign for the unit. If they don't like that, guess what there are other dealers.

I was wondering as RV Direct is the internet sales of RV One, which Orlando RV is part of.

RV Direct used to require payment in full before the camper was released from the factory...don't know if that part has changed.

There are so many problems on the other Columbus site especially with warranty work taking a long time waiting for parts that there is no way I will sign financing on a unit unless I know its ready for the road.....There are owners waiting months for their units to be repaired under warranty......I talked with another Columbus dealer and he stated they run the units thru service when they get them in, especially if it was ordered with a deposit and nothing is signed till its ready to go out the door....I also chatted with another Orlando Rv customer who stated they played the same game on them....

If they demanded I signed papers sight unseen and kept bugging me I'd tell the dealership exactly where they can stick that toy hauler
