It's exactly 2 weeks until we leave for our trip to Camp Gulf in Florida and we spent some time cleaning, repairing, and enjoying the Puma this weekend.
When I say we, I mean me and the guys from My Detail Guys who did the heavy lifting. I had them wash and polish my F350 and the Puma 351. They said the F350 was more difficult since the Puma is relatively new and clean. They did a great job and I will definately have them back in the Fall.
I also fixed a few things like a broken tie down in the garage, re-glued the seal around the rear door with heavy duty trim adhesive and replaced/modifed the cooktop exhaust housing and flap. The exhaust housings flap breaks very easily since the hinge is made of a very thin piece of plastic. I reinfoced this hinge using a thick piece of faux leather contact paper, then wiped down the outside surfaces with alcohol and painted it with plastic paint so that it doesn't sun fade. The fun part was cleaning off the old silicon and putty, it took a while, but in the end it was worth it.
Lastly, before I packed the grill into the garage we decided to cook a few steaks under the awning. I almost felt like I was already on vacation, except for the sore back
