No Central Vacuum as stated

I have the 2014 Palomino Columbus 3650TH and there literature shows a central vacuum as being standard equipment on this unit but my unit doesn't have one. Any thoughts? I contacted Columbus and this was there response.

"Please contact your selling dealer for this option. thanks"

This isn't an option on my unit it is suppose to be equipped with it! Sound like I might get the run around. I asked my dealer and I got, "well guess it didn't come with one".

I thought FR was better than this, I realize things can get over looked at the factory but most companys make it right. I'll keep you all posted of other feed back I get from this issue.

Guess that way they have there backs covered if they left something off the unit. I've learned a lot after buying this 5er.

I'd suggest if you looked at a paper brochure it could have been older or newer then your trailer therefore incorrect.

If your looking at the website it could be older or newer then your unit.

I had 2 items different from my sabre to the paper brochure.
Come to find out the brochure I looked at was two model years newer then what I was buying an my unit was a left over.

I just moved on.

Respectively, I would have thought that if you specifically thought that your camper was going to have a central vac when you purchased it you would have noticed during pdi that it wasn't there or long before now.

My best guess is you looked at the website just looking at things or was bored and seen after the fact that a central vac is std equipment.

So if you weren't expecting it in the first place why do you care?

I wouldn't have signed on the dotted line if the central vac "std equipment" was that important and not installed.

They've got your money why should they care now?

BTW on both trailers I bought new all the options were listed on the bill of sale.
Was it listed?

Tuff deal ma
I made sure all my options that i ordered were on my camper and found a few parts missing and some issues during our pdi and made sure it was all noted and that the missing parts were ordered before we signed our papers.
Honestly i probably wont order another camper with it. I think since we got our Sabre the end of may, we used the vacume 3 times, and one of those was to vacuum out the boat. I'll just get another $50 vacuum from walmart, then I'll just have to drag a cord around instead of that hose.
Good luck though!!
