We have two Honda Ranchers and they both fit. I park the first one all the way forward on the drivers side, the other one is more toward the rear on the passenger side of the unit. This allows for more space between the units and for access into the garage through the rear door when in transit mode.

I have the bunk beds in the garage. Distance between the rails is 90". Distance between the walls is 93". The distance from the rear door to the walls on the front of the garage is 11'4".

Does anyone use any of the products on the rubber of your slide out? My unit is only a year old but as the weather breaks I'll start getting it ready for the season. Wondering if that something I need to do. I do keep grease on the metal part underneath.

I pulled the trigger. I've got a 351thss on order. Hoping that its maiden voyage is Easter weekend.

Slide Conditioner

Its been awhile since I've read my manual but seem to recall the use of lubricants on the slide mech or seals is not recommended. Don't quote me on that though as I too have thought of doing the same thing. You would think even Armorall on the seal would be better than letting it go dry.
Any others out there with first hand knowledge of this maintenance matter?
Thanks and here is to a great 2014 camping season!

I was told by my dealer to use dry graphite lube on the slide mechanisms. For the slide seals and other rubber seals around the trailer I use a slide out seal lube or 303 protectant. I use the 303 on the decals as well.

Congrats on the order. I think it was a good decision and welcome to the 351THSS family. I have measured and I believe I can get my EZGO and a Yam Griz 350 into the garage. A tight fit but pretty certain it will work. The Griz 350 is the narrowest full size ATV I can find based on all the maufacturer's web sites I have visited. Its a bit narrower than the Rancher I had but the Rancher and EZGO would not fit in the garage so the Rancher had to go. A real shame as I really liked the Rancher. Still shopping for the Griz.
Anyway, good luck with the new 351. I feel confident you will not be disappointed.
Here is to a great 2014 Camping Season! Giddyup!!

Congrats....you're going to like it. I just spent over 2 months straight in mine on it's maiden voyage. 3000 miles and more than 60 nights without a single issue!!!!

Hi what do they consider an Article package or a Rocky Mountain package. Coming from BC I need to have protection from freezing even while driving.

I have the Rocky Mountain package and it consists of an upgraded 35,000 btu furnace, extra insulation, enclosed insulated and heated fresh water tank, and black water tank flush out. I think it also has tank heaters on the gray and black tank as well.

Furnace Upgrade to 35,000 BTU
Heated Fresh Water Tank
Upgraded insulation

Additional tank heaters are available as an option.

Finally got around to reading the manual again. What I found was in the Lippert slide mech manual. It specifically stated not to lube the mechanism. It does not really make a lot of sense as there are many great dry lubes out there. I have noticed my slide is squeaking a little this year so I may do a little research and give it a try.
Spring Break was a huge success again this year. Garner State Park was really hopping at the weekend dance at the pavillion. Loads of fun.
Here is to a really great camping season!

Hey rabraz, off topic, but I saw you mentioned Garner. I grew up in Uvalde so Garner was a weekly thing for us back in the day. How was the water flow?

Frio is flowing about the same as the last three years. Good enough to keep a line at the rope swings. Tubes float but have to portage a few areas. Really need a couple tropical storms to blow through the gulf and dump a couple weeks of heavy rain.
Still a good time was had by everyone. Thanks for asking Grooveman.
Here is to a great camping season!

Hey I have a question for you guys. I am having issue with birds making nest in the coupling area of the hitch. Do they make covers for that? I'm concern if a bird gets in there something else like a snake my go in there after the bird eggs. I think there was a conversation about this before on the blog.

They do make pin box covers but personally I have not seen them and not sure if they would keep the birds out

I have a 356 but have & would not put a goose neck adapter on it at least until the warranty runs out. It has a very heavy pin weight & will put a lot of stress on the frame which is not designed the same as a goose neck.. I went the opposite way & have a car hauler with a fifth wheel hitch.
