Revelation

Anybody seen one of these in the flesh yet? Dealer in NC has two but they're a good two hours away. Don't like the 96" wide but other than that, looks really nice.

That's a nice looking unit, but not sure I see the 'value' in all the extra $ over a Puma Unleashed 351 THSS. We paid 37K for our 351THSS and got a lot of options that I really wanted like 2 Coleman 15K A/C units, 12 gallon hot water heater, 50amp service, and on and on and on.

I agree. The dealer that has two of them also sells plenty of Unleashed Pumas. He's advertising the Revelations approximately $20,000 more than the larger Pumas.

Maybe he's just trying to make a killing off a new model.

From what I see on the internet, he is the first one in the country with a pair of them which would certainly make it easier for him to increase his margins for once. It's that same dealers website that got me to looking for a Unleashed 351THSS. Don't get me wrong, the Revelation does look nice, has the fiberglass exterior walls, is trimmed out nicely (in the pics), but also has a **** load of pin weight!!! Our 351 only has a pin weight of 1500+- a little.

OK, so you really had me curious and I just went and looked again... I can see another 10K for the bigger one. You get the generator, air ride pin box, fuel station, and some other options that are really nice IMO. I do love that floor plan and really love the idea of smooth exterior walls. My biggest problem is the hitch weight on the Revelations. I'm almost certain that my 2015 RAM 2500 6.7 Cummins 4WD only has a cc rating of 2000 and the hitch weight of the Revelations is 2500. Our aluminum walls are great for weight, but a PITA to keep clean.........

You make good points.

The 96" wide is something I see a big issue when charging that much for a toy hauler. For those prices, the Revelation is getting into, Raptor/Fuzion/XLR territory.

If the Pumas would go fiberglass sides, I think they couldn't make them fast enough for demand.

Our first camper was a 30FQSS TT back in 2004. Of the four campers we've owned, its still the cheapest, simplest, and our favorite of them all. It was a family friend for four years.

I 'assumed' they were all 96" wide? I take it they are not? So far the width has not bothered me at all when towing and love the garage being that wide so I can put the RZR XP1000 in there as well as pressure washer and grill next to the RZR and still have some floor space left over.

We used to have a Cyclone. Worst camper I've ever owned. But they, like the Raptors, Fuzions, and XLRs are 102" wide. Makes it a little nicer inside and you can squeeze two sport quads in side by side. Our 12' garage had from time to time four quads squeezed in there. No way we could have done that with a 96" wide camper.

Now I see said the dumb azz. LOL I had no clue that they could legally build one over 96". I see your point and the extra 6" would be really awesome!!!

The revelation didn't even make it a year and it's already discontinued and no longer being manufactured.

Only 40 were made and I'm to understand 20 are already back to the factory unsold.

Wow. That blows me away. We've had a Puma TT and a Sabre TT. The thought of Palomino making a new toy hauler similar to a Sabre was exciting.

Do you know if it was a manufacturing issue or the 40 just weren't selling?

Maybe the Puma will get a fiberglass side now. I love the Unleashed toy haulers but that's one thing that always seems so "1990s".

Under the impression that it was both.
