Vent covers

I am looking at installing a camco vent cover on my puma unleashed toy hauler. I watched their installation video and it does say anything about sealing around the bottom after the bracket is in place. I am concerned about bracket beating roof when in transit. Should I seal under brackets or under brackets and front 3 sides?

We have never sealed ours. You want to be able to remove them to clean. They work great, have never had any leaks.
