Water lines under Puma 356?

Hey all. I was looking under my Puma 356 today getting ready to start the spring maintanence and I noticed what appeared to be two capped water lines, one red and one white coming out from the floor and protruding about 12" or so near the dump valves. Anybody know why they are there?
I have the Rocky Mountain package also.

Thanks

Man I completely missed those. I went through the steps recommended by the dealer for winterizing, running pink stuff through all the lines etc.. but I didn't drain those. Hope it didn't mess anything up.

i just blow mine dry with an air compressor. don't that pink stuff stink? ain't it hard to get out of the system? a buddy of mine told me not to use it as he took about a month of solid flushing to get it out of his system. so i've never used that stuff and i haven't had any issues at all.

50/50 what?

If you mean bleach ratio 1 cup of bleach per full water tank will be plenty.

And you should do this regardless of using antifreeze or not.

yes sir, the bleach ratio. wow, i guess i've been overdoing it on the fresh water circulation cleaning cycle at the first of the year each year. ummm.....guess i underestimated the power of bleach! . thank you so much for the advice.

I use the pink stuff every year, no issues flushing it out of the system. I haven't done the bleach through the lines yet, but looking at your 50/50 I was about to do a whole gallon of bleach when I flush...ha ha ha that would have really cleaned the line! ha ha ha

At one cup you can smell bleach when water is running !

1/4 cup per 15 gallons is the actual ratio .
