'03 Sierra - does my heater have an anode?

Hi,

I should have taken a picture of our 2003 Sierra heater at the campground before we came home. First time we've had odor from the hot water, and I am not sure whether:

1) It is Atwood or Suburban
2) If it has an anode

I've looked at pictures of both on the forum and online, but I'm not sure. The water outlet is a square metal plug that looks about 9/16" or 5/8" (not 1 & 1/16"). It is gas and electric.

Of course, the manuals are in the camper, 75 mi from here. I want to go back up this weekend to treat it with bleach, but I would like to bring an anode with me in case that's part of the problem.

This is still a new 5th wheeler for us, and we're also new to trailer camping. We lucked out and found a very nice little park by a lake. I enjoy the very helpful answers people get on this forum, and look forward to a response.

Atwood would not have an anode rod but a drain.
Suburban would have an anode and in the 1" nut size range

Thanks Turbs, it must be an Atwood. Smaller square nut on the drain. I will rig up a wand for flushing the heater and bring up some bleach and vinegar.

Thanks Dave! I always try to do as much research as I can before asking a question. Getting the bleach in was the one thing I couldn't figure out from the sanitation posts.
