2006 Sierra low water pressure

Hello all - I bought my fifth wheel used in 2007, and have noticed really low water pressure the whole time. It's throughout the trailer, but the shower is the most noticable. Last weekend the place we camped must have had a little lower presure because our shower was unusable there. Immediately behind the check valve at the freshwater hookup is this. Anyone know what this is or have any suggestions about the water pressure?

Thanks for any help.

Looks like a pressure reducer. Used to protect your plumbing from too much incoming pressure. I've got an '08 that had same symptoms. I replaced the water filter and problem solved.... Goodluck, Greg

OK thanks - where's the water filter? As far as I know I don't have one. If you mean the screen where the water supply hooks up, I did take that out for a try, but no change.

The exact location of the filter varies some from model to model. In mine, and in most I've seen, it is located near the water pump. If you don't know where the pump is, put some water in your fresh water tank, turn on the pump switch, open a a faucet, and you will be able to locate it by the sound it makes.

Water filter in mine is in cabinet directly behind water inlet.I also removed cartridge for filter.Made a big difference in pressure.
