2011 Hyperlite Toyhauler Water Pump issue

Recently purchased a used camper from an individual. Trying to prepare for our first run and getting discouraged! Plumbing is fine when attached to city water. Campsite we are going to doesn't have water hookup. Water pump won't shut off, even after all faucets run smoothly. Owners manual is NO help! There are no leaks, but not sure about all the valves on the water heater.

Your pump is probably trying to fill your HWH and can't do it because the air has nowhere to go. Turn your pump on, go outside to the HWH, and flip open the relief valve at the top--you'll hear air hiss out at first, and then eventually water. Once the water is coming out without air bubbling, the tank is full, close the valve. Your pump should stop. Good luck!
