I own a 2014 FR-3, lately i have a real bad smell from black tank when we flush the toilet, we have tried many chemicals but doesn't seem to help, is there anything i can put on the vent tube to help draw out the smell, and also i have a double vent on top of r.v. which is which or should i put something on both.
Behind the foot peddle is a serial number and model number. Call Dometic and see if it is on the recall list....if you are the original owner.
If it is a model 300 and not covered ask them the price of a model 310 or 320...I paid $75.00 for a model 310 with the anti-slam wood seat. free shipping.
Easy to remove the old one...just don't tip it sideways till you get outside it will be full of urine.....that's where your smell is coming from. It cant be repaired. throw it away.
