2016 Wildwood X-Lite 263BHXL fresh water tank drain location

Hi,

First Trailer buyer here :-)

We are going to take the trailer out on a trip 250 miles away, and the dealership has filled up our freshwater tank to capacity. There is water where we are going, so I'd like to not haul hundreds of pounds in water. I've found the low point drains, but what I'm wondering is if the drain I'm looking for is directly under the fresh water fill tank, and is a line with a valve? I just want to be sure before I get under the trailer turning valves. The owner's manual is 'vague'.

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. more then likely the drain is right under or to the side of the tank

Yep, that sounds like the drain.

The dealer should have drained your FW tank upon delivery. Do not travel with a full tank of fresh water or you could discover (like many here) that the supports are not strong enough to hold a full tank during travel.
The fresh water drain will be a single hose with a valve sticking out from the bottom of the trailer.

Mine is a 262 BH but I think it is a very similar hook-up. First, you have to LOVE the manual (sarcasm ). Yes, there are 2 while hoses right near the tank, one with no valve (over flow for fresh H2O). The other is the drain. The 2 low point drains I beleive are closer to the rear. 1 for hot and 1 for clod water.
And welcome to the forum
