3 sewer hookups ??????

I just bought a new 2013 Sunseeker Model 2860ds , it has 3 hookups for a sewer hose, two seem to be the black and gray and are inside of a compartment the 3rd is just to the rear of those 2 and comes out from under the coach. Can anyone tell me what the 3rd one is for ?? Thanks Cliff

Welcome to the forums!

According the the Forest River site, your Sunseeker has a 39 gal gray and a 39 gal black tank...no separate galley tank. I seen a photo of the compartment where there's a sewer connection with a grey tank valve on one side and a black tank valve of the other. What other connection are you refering to?

The 3rd hookup comes from a tank in the center of the coach just behind the rear axle, and the hookup comes out from under the coach just a couple of feet to the rear of the compartment that has the other tow hookups in it.

Rod, I don't know if its a fresh water tank or not , would they put one on with the same hookup as a sewer connection? Also the montier panel in side shows check lights for , fresh ,black gray, and galley.

I can't think what else it could be other than a separate, gray tank for the galley. It's not in the soecs, but they're frequently wrong.

Does the tank monitoring panel have 3 tanks plus fresh water?

Dave

If you look at Terrytown R V web site he has a picture of a sunseeker 2860ds and you can see the extra hookup sticking out just behind the rear wheels..

Could it be grey water for the OS Kitchen or the shower?
Maybe the best plan is to hook up at a dumpsite and pour a bucket of water down each drain and see what happens.

Yes, I have thought about that also as the OS kitchen and the shower are both on the curb side of the coach. The tank is visble from under side and I would not think of it as enclosed and heated as advertised. We are going out for 3 days this afternoon for shakedown cruise so should know more when we return.
Great to have a place to talk to people about these thing.
