Adding a water pump accumulator near kitchen sink?

I have a stainless steel 2 gallon accumulator that I wanted to install in my trailer, but there is no room for it near my water pump. I do have lots of room under my kitchen sink at the rear of the trailer to install it. Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't it work fine if I install it in the cold water line just before my kitchen tap?

It will work fine anywhere in the cold water lines.

No correction necessary. It will work wonders cutting down on your pump time no matter where in-line you're able to install it. It's independent of your pump.
