Another Oxygenics Believer!
I just came back from Church Camp (Yosemite Bible Camp).
Low water pressure in the Rv section is a common issue in the early AM due to all of the kids taking their showers.
The Oxygenics shower head performed just as advertised.
The wife was very happy with it.
My only issue was that the holder will not keep the shower head in place.
It tends to droop down. (the little ball joint is what I am refering to)
Almost like the head is too heavy for it.
Anyone else had this issue? Have you come up with a fix?
Have a great day!
Bill

I used the open ended clip type holder and it has two "settings" for different angles and kept the hand wand hose attached. My only issue with it is the plastic hose gets a kink right at the shower head when you hold it lower. I was considering putting a metal type hose on it, but they weigh more.
And this shower head was put on the first night we camped in the Windjammer, also the day we picked it up from the dealer. One of the quickest and best upgrades you can get in a camper.
As far as the low pressure, just kick on the camper on board pump augment the low camp pressure. Heck even with just the camper pump, you still get a great shower using the Oxygenics head.
Look in the plumbing section of you favorite hardware store (or Amazon) and get one of those little on off in line valves also. Saves a lot of water during showers.
100% Shower Head Shut Off Valve - Solid Brass - Chrome Finish - Amazon.com
I mounted mine on top of the valve assembly where it's easy to reach.

This showerhead swap was one of the first mods I did to our Windjammer. I used the mount that didn't have the ball movement for the very same reason. I also installed a shut off at the faucet but now the new showerheads have an inline shut off at the bottom of the head for "Navy" showers. We like this showerhead so well we bought two more for the house.

I'm not getting this mod. Are you switching shower heads for less water usage? The problem we have with the factory supplied one is that it points out instead of down.

Better water pressure. My factory shower head, the water "piddled" out of it. With the oxygenics, the water comes out pretty strong. I can tell it's playing tricks with air when I wash my hair, but it's still decent for an RV shower.
It, along with a good RV water pressure regulator are well worth the money (the Oxygenics shower head being much cheaper of the two).

Thanks, I actually have a good stream of water from the factory head.

So did I, but it is nothing like the Oxygenics.

There should be two or three adjustment slots in the wall mount for aiming the head...but I'm sure you already know that!
Also, the Oxygenics head helps the shower experience using the onboard water pump if you don't have hookups.

I assume you are refering to the "Stock" holder that came with the unit.
I will give that one a try.
I also considered placing a small stainless steele screw in the bottom portion of the ball to prevent it from aiming down so far.
I will report back with the fix I come up with.
Thank you all for your comments.

We were able to use the holder that came with the old showerhead. Works perfect. We installed a shut off right above the handles. Works like a charm!!

I did not see the adjustments (two) on our stock shower head. Thanks for the tip!
Having been in the Navy and on board a ship for many months, I can tell you the "shower experience" was not something sought after!

Sorry but I have never seen a shower head mount which doesn't have "slots" inside where the shower head slides in to allow head angle adjustment. You won't see them unless you remove the shower head from the mount.
The "shower experience" that I referred to is that the Oxygenics uses LESS water pressure (water pump) to give a very decent shower experience rinsing soap from body and hair unlike the cheap shower heads that most manufacturers use.
The other thing I did was to cut a small section out of the "keeper" ring half way down the wall to allow the hose to be removed and the head removed from the mount to allow full body and shower wall rinsing.

X2 WindJammer!
It should also be noted that despite the box saying that there Is a shut off valve on the new ones, it does not completely shut off the water, it still pee's a little bit when shut off. I actually thought that it was a leaky valve, but when I took it back to Camping World they told me that it does not completely shut off, why I have no idea. To me a on/off valve means just that. Other than that it works as described by others here and worth the investment.

I bought mine last year before they included the shut off valve you are referring to. I installed an inline shut off valve where the hose connects to the faucet...no "peeing" with that one.

The original shower head holder works for us and that might be a solution for you. Our only issue with this arrangement is that the Oxygenics shower head has to be removed from the holder when we hit the road - it won't stay put due to its mass vs the OEM shower head.

Lots of RV dealerships have them. You pay a premium, but it's in your hands right then and there.

When I do a web search on Oxygenics I see many different models. What model are people around here getting?
