Anti-Freeze Inlet Dripping

I have a drip from the anti-freeze inlet. After a weekend everything near it was soaked. This is our second year with our HTT but I don't recall having this problem last year. I searched the forum but did not find another thread discussing my problem. Thank you in advance for helping with my issue.

When on city water, check valve in water pump is leaking back and anti-freeze valve by water pump is set to anti-freeze input instead of fresh water tank.....make sure city water connection is disconnected, put water in fresh water tank, set valve by water pump so it pull water from fresh water tank and start pump to hopefully reset check valve, open faucet in trailer. Reconnect city water and see if leak again. Hope it works.

Should be an On/Off valve in the antifreeze suction line. At least there is on mine.

Thank you for responding. It sounds like this is the problem. We purchased our HTT February 2014 and I didn't have the drip last year. I will try it next weekend. Thanks again for the guidance.

Thank you for another good suggestion. I have been in the storage bay working on a PEX fitting and could have bumped a valve without realizing it. I am a bit bruised from the tight space. On the plus side I am pretty sure I know where all of the water lines are in our HTT.

I will check this out next weekend.

OldCoot, I found a valve on the line. Closing the valve stopped the leak.

Fonzie, I will partially fill fresh water tank on our next trip (after I have familiarized myself with sanitizing the tank) to test your suggestion. I finished my shower repair and did not have time today.

Thank you both for assisting with my newbie problems. I hope you both have a wonderful weekend and are hopefully camping.
