Cool Bad Smell?

Tip: Once you get it cleaned up, make certain that all drains have stoppers installed so that when the action of towing sloshes & empties the water from your drain traps, the stopper prevents the sewer gasses from entering the trailer. (Kitchen sink, lavatory & shower, pickup stoppers at your local ACE is the Place or Wally World)

The trailer is at a fixed location so it will not be getting towed. I did however put these stoppers in all the sinks as to prevent any type of smell coming up. I have been trying to clean out the black water tank since I had no idea if the old owner had done it. I placed some of the breakdown chemicals in the tank and let it sit for a week. When I went to go empty it out I could not believe the amount of stuff that was coming out. Truly nasty.

Sorry to say but this is an added bonus with used equipment. Just keep flushing, it may take what seems an inordinate amount of effort but it will be worth it is the long run.

Happy flushing!

Mix the next batch a little stronger and keep repeating it for at least a month or til you get nothing but clear water out, then you have succeeded.
