Welcome to the forum!

The galley tank can get very smelly with food waste. I've tried to sanitize ours with detergent (capful) and bleach (1 cup) and filled the tank with water and left it overnight. Most of the odor is gone. You may have to do it more than once if you have a lot of build-up in the tank.

There is also a PVC check value in the galley sink plumbing that I believe is designed to let water down and prevent odors from coming back up to the sink. Sounds like that $5.00 check valve may need replaced. On my new RV, the manufacturer dropped some glue on the valve preventing proper operation. This was in my bathroom sink and we could not find the foul odor under my mobile mechanic showed up and stepping out his truck said he knew exactly what it was.

I use liquid chemicals Aqua Kem 8 oz into the toilet after dumping, I than rinse the residual left in bottle with water into the galley sink never had a problem with smell ever. My friend just poor ounce into each sink. Also the P trap must have water in it to work .
