Bath Holding Tank Question

We have a leak in our 2001 Cardinal 32 XL bath holding tank. When there is water in the tank, it leaks out of the drain line hole. How would I proceed to check out the origin of the leak?
Thanks!
George

It could be the valve is not shutting all the way may be something in it or the valve is just going bad just a thought

If it's leaking out of the drain line then the valve is leaking by. There could be something in the valve preventing it from closing all the way. There should be 4 bolts holding the valve body in the line remove them "After you've drained the tank" and the valve should come out of the line. You can then replace it or clean and lube it and put it back.

And wear rubber gloves. Those tanks never seem to empty completely.
