black/grey tanks combined in spt296

Just bought 2013 spt296. They combined the blk/grey bathroom sink/shower/toilet in one 30 gallon tank! Could not believe when they admitted doing it on purpose as a cost saving measure. Dealer able to get them to authorize a replumb fix to separate them. Anyone else catch this?

It does have a 30 gallon for the kitchen but instead of plumbing the br sink and shower into that they just dumped it into my black water. Guess they don't camp much.

i've been camping with our HTT for 7 years now and i'd love to have that setup, since it takes us weeks to fill the black tank with just the toilet dumping into it. would be fantastic to directly divert some gray water into the black tank.
